- With 8 years experience in djing, deejay ob offers an extensive library of music. Customisation is a key benefit of using deejay ob – taking into consideration the type of event being organised and the audience in question, deejay ob will develop a repertoire based on specific genres and styles. The key to success is often ensuring that the dj “rocks the dance-floor all night long” – he makes sure he caters for each demographic during your wedding day.
- Deejay ob can guarantee that your “do not play” songs are not on the set list , this is something which can often be overlooked by other djs and can be extremely irritating to the client. He will also consult with the client if they want the guests requested songs played or not.
- No 2 weddings are the same as I custom make the night to suit your tastes and guests.
For most, the dj should not be the centre of attention during your big day, so deejay ob’s unobtrusive, low key approach and subtle style lets the music do the talking! Deejay ob speaks on the microphone only when necessary either for requests or as a stepping stone to the next part of the night, with no over the top speeches and announcements. I will not insult any of your guests during the night by making them feel uncomfortable in any way[some djs do], I let the music do the talking and dancing. I have my own custom made dj box which is tidy and unobtrusive unlike some djs who use a table which is provided by the venue.
Should there be a wedding band playing prior, deejay ob will work closely with the band and request a set list that they intend to play so that he does not repeat the music ( unless of course requested by the client). Specific to weddings, deejay ob will of course play your requested first song of the night, but will also discuss with the happy couple what music they feel they would like to end with on the dance floor. Plus if requested he will play the garter and bouquet throwing games, and if you want i will even do the traditional rock the boat if rquested.
Wedding packages;
Silver pack €325 for up to 3hrs
- After band disco entertainment for up to 3 hours.
- This includes full consultation prior to event.
- Dj will liaise with band and venue.
Gold pack €400 for 4 hrs
- After band music entertainment for up to 4 hours.
- This includes full consultation prior to event.
- Dj will liaise with band and venue.
Platinum pack €575 for 6 hrs, after meal.
- This includes full consultation with client and venue prior to event regarding set up positions and times.
- Immediate start after meal with background music to allow venue to prepare the dance floor for the first of many dances.
- 6 hrs of music entertainment, from oldies to 80’s to typical wedding music and more.
- Props supplied to cater for party games, e.g. blow up air guitar, wigs etc.
Background music during meal – with early set up in conjunction with platinum pack only plus a small extra fee.
Monday to Thursday weddings qualify for a 10% discount off desired package [not including Bank holidays or during festive seasons]

Day after wedding dj pack This is available for the day after your big day which includes 2 hrs of party music in a chosen pub, club or venue. Party games included if requested, e.g. air guitar competion, dance offs with wigs etc. Prices ranging from 165 Euros. After wedding partys qualify for a 10% discount from chosen party dj package.
A video booth can be supplied for your wedding which is a fun way to capture forever your guests and families live video messages. This replaces the traditional wedding guest book with a high quality DVD containing all the best wishes, laughter and craic of your special day. This can be added to any wedding package. Deejay ob can provide an early kiddies disco [ subject to availability of a suitable room and is only available with the silver pack ] to entertain the kids and keep them occupied, this has an extra charge for 1 hour to the wedding pack price.
All of the above includes dj, a professional sound and lighting system, and full liaising with client via phone or e mail. If customer needs to meet then this can be accommodated.
Only professional brand sound and lighting equipment is used and if requested a back up service can be supplied. Sample products used- Pioneer, Stanton, kam, Wharfdale, Numark.
Dj will dress smartly and accordingly for the occasion or as per prior agreed dress code.

To confirm booking, a signed contract with a booking fee of 50 % will be required.
